Refund and cancellation policy

Maxwell Books is free while we test it with invited businesses, so there's nothing to refund. We'll tell you the price at least 30 days before billing starts.

Cancel any time in Settings, in no more steps than it took to subscribe. No phone call or email needed.

You keep full access until the end of the month you've paid for, and you can download your books before and after cancelling until your account is closed.

• Your first payment: a full refund if you ask within 14 days of it.
• After that, we don't refund part of a month, but cancelling stops the next payment.
• If we charged you by mistake, or charged the wrong amount, we'll refund it in full.

To ask for a refund: Press Feedback at the bottom of any page while you're signed in. [Our privacy email goes here once our domain is set up.] Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days.

We email you before every renewal with the date and amount, and a link to cancel.
